PENGARUH UKURAN AGREGAT KASAR BERGRADASI SERAGAM PADA BETON POROUS (The Size Effect Of Uniformly Gr

Compressive strength and porosity are important in porous concrete. To obtain high porosity, uniformly graded coarse aggregates are used. The maximum size of coarse aggregate is one of the factors that influence the compressive strength of concrete. Based on these reasons, research was conducted on the effect of the size of uniformly graded coarse aggregates on porous concrete. The weight ratio of cement with coarse aggregate used in this study are of two types, namely 1: 5 and 1: 6, the water cement ratio (wcr) used is 0.20 and 0.25. The sizes of uniformly graded coarse aggregates used are 10 mm, 20 mm, 40 mm and 76 mm. The specimens in this study were 3 samples of porous concrete cylinders for each variation, with a total of 48 samples. The tests carried out include: coarse aggregates (gravel) testing, compressive strength testing, porosity testing, and unit weight testing. From these results it can be concluded that the greater the size of the aggregate decrease the compressive strength of porous concrete. Compressive strength of porous concrete with water cement ratio 0.20 greater than 0.25. The compressive strength of porous concrete with a weight ratio of cement with a coarse aggregate 1: 5 is higher than 1: 6. The greater the size of the aggregate increase porosity of porous concrete. Effect of coarse aggregate size is not significant to the unit weight of the porous concrete.
